“If you’re wondering what a Doula is and contemplating if you really need one, trust me you need one! Not just a Doula but you need Shayla! Birth is beautiful and we all want that amazing experience. It is also excruciating and scary! I’m sooo thankful we had Shayla there to get through those scary and painful moments, which felt like my entire birth. My husband and I went to birthing class and learned all the tricks and prepped our bag with everything we needed to get me through. All of that knowledge and all those pain management tricks went out the window. I could not focus on anything other than what was happening in that moment. I am beyond grateful we had Shayla there to do all those things and guide us through the process!
