“I thought this was a great place to visit! I’m glad it wasn’t more than $5 though. If I lived nearby I might go fairly often, but unfortunately it’s about 40 min drive so I don’t think I’ll ever come back. Maybe after the renovations are finished later on, or if just in area and need some time to kill. It’s pretty small— you can do most of it within 1 hour if you weren’t sitting down and meditating. That’s good or bad depending on your outlook — I thought it was nice for what we desired to add a nice and quick place to our day. Staff was great. Thank you!”

Address: 1200 Crandon Blvd, Key Biscayne, FL 33149, USA

Park

“My husband and I booked Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park for our wedding ceremony (elopement) and it was an amazing experience. We only spent a few hundred dollars to be married on a beautiful and peaceful beach with that scenic lighthouse back drop. We had a morning ceremony and Bill Baggs helped us arrange an off duty ranger to let us in the park before it officially opened to the public. During the ceremony it was just myself, my husband, our officiant and our photographer on the beach. Bill Baggs even let us return the following day to actually make the payment so we didn't have to stress about any of that on our wedding day. The planning vendor we used for this location was Small Miami Weddings, and they were also completely amazing.”

Park Cafe Store

“IG: @pachamama_ We went a little after 4 o’clock (closes at 5) and honestly didn’t expect to be able to walk the land, but I still wanted to ask because it’s my favorite place in Miami. They let us in, were super polite & this was my best experience visiting. The woman working gave me an avocado to take home as we were leaving. It’s my birthday today and she didn’t even know it, and it honestly made my entire day. The same guy is always working there which makes me feel like he really knows what he’s talking about. He’s so polite, as well as the other staff members. This place is beyond kid friendly and a foodie heaven. I’ve never had a bad experience here”

“Everytime I go to this park is so nice and calm. It's on the small side but always so quiet and peaceful, even on Sunday when people don't have work. Mostly people walking their dogs. It's also in a quiet neighborhood just a few cars here and there. There's a playground for kids, on the small side as well but still nice.”

Crandon Park Cabanas

Address: 6747 Crandon Blvd, Key Biscayne, FL 33149, USA

Park

“This place is very beautiful. I found some fallen coconuts and de-husked one on the concrete completely by hand without any tools! I met a nice Cuban American man who lives on the island and he showed me how to peel a coconut using a knife. He showed me out of the 3 holes on the core, only 1 reaches the water. He is a very friendly guy. I like how the coconut tasted. I also toured the state park, which requires only $2 for pedestrians and walked in the mangrove bushes. Walking in the residential area I watched those humongous $10M houses and people driving around in golf carts. According to Wikipedia a lot of celebrities including Richard Nixon lived in Key Biscayne.”
