Started off a little rainy but then the sky cleared up. Sailor Ripley, Miami local band we're playing their hits. Key Largo fisheries were having their lobster fest. We decided on lobster corquettas and fried calamari. We drank mango smoothie and margarita. I love this venue. Super friendly staff even a fish market if you want to take fresh fish home. Even their super clean bathrooms have nautical decor.
Tried Florida Lobster bites. Good flavor, but chewy. Had the fried clams, light crispy tasty. Tried the coleslaw. I didn't prefer the taste except the spiced kick it had. SO had trio platter fried Mahi, shrimp, and clams. He praised how well everything tasted. Side note we asked for clarified butter for lobster bites. It's a keylime butter, very tasty.
I'd recommend eating here. After we ate we stood on the docks feed some tarpon nerf sharks and other fish
Couldn't be happier with our Lunch. We had the shrimp tacos and coconut shrimp. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. We sat at the bar and had great service. It was very gun and chill. I liked the live music too gave a fun island vibe. They have a seafood market top. It was all awesome. We will be back
This is a great spot thanks to the great atmosphere and fresh seafood. The cafe has a small fish market attached where you can buy stone crab of varying sizes and fresh fish as well. The stone crab purchases in the market is slightly cheaper than the cafe and can be enjoyed in the cafe as well.
I skipped breakfast at the hotel to get a lobster roll for brunch on our way to Key West.
The best lobster roll I had since my last one in Maine, worth the price.
Toasted bread, crispy crust soft inside. Lots of lobster and the right amount of creaminess, spices, and veggies. Sweet potatoes fried are worth the extra charge. Crispy, soft, and deliciously tasty.
