  I have never been happier with any doctor than I am with Dr. Gayles. He is the very first doctor who, though he found nothing substantial on my scans, told me without hesitation, "that doesn't mean you're not in pain." He is always smiling and friendly when he greets me, listens to everything I have to say, and answers all my questions patiently and in a way that I can understand what is going on. His staff is also very friendly and prompt. Today, I was scheduled to have cervical facet joint injections with sedation by him. The surgical center told me I couldn't eat or drink anything after midnight the night before, including even a sip of water this morning to take my morning meds. My appt was at 10am, but they were running a bit behind and I wasn't taken back for my procedure until around 1pm. By the time Dr. Gayles spoke to me before they took me in, I was in so much pain I was crying. He looked upset that the surgical center had told me not to take my morning meds and said in the future that I should. He then told me he would tell the anesthesiologist to give me IV pain meds (fentanyl) with the sedation. I did not have to ask for the pain meds - he offered them. His compassion goes above and beyond that of every other doctor I have ever seen and I have seen A LOT. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Gayles. If I could give him 6 stars, I would in a heartbeat.

  Dr. Gayles is a truly excellent physician and a caring, compassionate individual. His staff is not only professional but they’re also incredibly kind and understanding. I had two previous Cervical Spine fusions and was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis/Psoriasis prior to moving to FL in 2017. I recently had another C-Spine surgery that was far more substantial and painful than the previous two. Surgery also has caused several flares of Psoriatic Arthritis. The widespread pain from the flares and the severe post op pain would have given me great anxiety before I became a patient of Dr. Gayles. Now, I’m confident that I’m receiving the best possible care throughout my post op recovery and the chronic arthritis flares. I’m relieved and comforted knowing I have the support of Dr. Gayles and his staff! If you’re living with pain and need a physician, look no further!!

  I'm very pleased with the relief I've gotten this month. I wasnt able to even put my shots on or barely walk, now I'm doing low impact workouts and feeling better. Pain is depressing. Thank u for helping me feel better with epidural shots.

  Dr. Gayles is by far the best in Pain Management! He is always looking for the best treatment for each individual patient. Your best interests are always one of the things he takes into consideration. Everyone in his office is wonderful to work with. They are very friendly and looking out for you needs also. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for pain management. He is the very best!
