(February 17, 2019, 11:18 pm)We didn't have fast passes unfortunately, and the wait times were enormous. At some points during the day the wait for standby was over 4.5 hrs. We ended up waiting until the end of the day and the wait dropped to an hour and a half. I am SO glad we decided to wait because the ride was amazing. It is totally emersive and you really feel like you are there on Pandora riding a banshee. It is my favourite ride we have gone on so far. The wait times are literally the only drawback!
(February 11, 2019, 3:41 pm)Quite the 3D ride. This one is probably the most intense one I have been on yet. Still okay for children, that being said. I really did enjoy this one out of all the ride choices in animal kingdom.
(February 10, 2019, 9:02 am)If I could give this review 10 stars I would. This ride is incredible and probably the best at Disney. It’s going to be difficult for any ride to compare to this one. I didn’t wait 2+ hours for it, so that’s probably the only negative reviews are the long wait time.
(January 1, 2019, 12:30 pm)Best. Ride. Ever. This ride is safe but thrilling. Nothing compares to the feeling of actually flying and on the back of a banshee! You even feel the banshee breathing between your legs as you straddle the ride. We have been on this ride 20+ times and every time it is just as thrilling. Also, you always hear someone hooting and hollering at the end. The ride is that good. People clap and can’t stop talking about it!
We were lucky to score a special even with our season passes that got us into the park with limited audience before it opened. We rode this ride 5x in a row. This ride is a must do fast pass but worth waiting in line if need be. We have burned our fast passes and still got I. Line to ride again, waiting as much as 3 hours. Worth the wait!!
(December 25, 2018, 10:52 pm)Best ride in Disney hands down. We went to universal too and this one beats everything. You have to get fast pass. it’s even worth standby. We did it twice last trip. Our son loved it. It has sudden acceleration and amazing visuals. It’s built on same concept of soaring but adds 3D simulation to make it one the best ride. It’s one of the newer rides so visuals and other simulations are best.
