(November 21, 2017, 7:14 pm)Partners FCU has always been a good banking solution for me. Currently, I have a simple account with them and couldn't be happier. I don't do enough in direct deposits to enjoy the perks of an account at one of the major institutions without being charged a monthly fee. Here, I have no fee, just need to maintain 5 dollars in my savings, if need be, that's it. So, for someone on a tight income, it's a great option. The penalization cost when you overdraft is also lower than the major banks as well and they don't seem to have a problem reviewing overdrafts and removing them if you were not at fault, e.g. your cable company accidentally bills you twice one month. I had a good auto loan through them a few years ago that I had no issues with, and they have always been more than happy to help me with any financial questions or brainstorming I've stopped by with over the years.
The only Con I can think of is the limited cash deposit options with ATMs. You can only deposit cash with ATMs on Disney property, that I know of, such as West Clock, Hollywood Studios, DC-2, so on. You can make deposits at banks that are part of the group, but these deposits can take days to make it to your account. This is understandable and acceptable given they are a credit union that mainly services cast members, but if you also work off property and need to make a cash deposit that will be in your account that night, you will need to drive to the Dis, just be aware. Not really worthy of taking a star away, just something that should be known. Oh, and their mobile banking app makes it easy to deposit checks from your device or computer, so no problems there.
All in all, I have to say I've been happy to be able to do business with Vista now Partners over the years and look forward to growing with them in the many more to come. -
