“Met Jeff Pralle for my hearing test and purchase of Resound aids. I've tried three pairs of aids previously, although a long time ago. This was the most comprehensive hearing test of all I've had. In addition to determining the faintest tone I could detect at the customary test frequencies, Costco also measured the loudest tone that could be tolerated, so the aids will limit the amplification of loud noises. Over amplification of loud noises had been a problem with the previous aids from many years ago. I'll update this post after using the aids. One nice thing is the 180-day guarantee, offering a full refund if not satisfied. This goes beyond the 30-day guarantee mandated by Florida. Jeff also recommended 2 to 3 visits yearly to make sure everything was working properly - very nice to have the continuing relationship after the sale and initial fitting.”
