Owner has very good nature and always giving right advise to customer. He want to maintain relationship not built money
Sean at All Makes can fix anything on two wheels. Awesome mechanical skills for solving just about anything to keep your motorcycle running top notch. Tires, oil changes to custom work and general bike maintenance. Go see Sean, you will be happy you did . Tell him "Hey Neighbor " says hey, he will know where it came from.
I've been taking my Ninja's here since 2009. He's always done great work, from tire installation to electric problems to carb work; I couldn't be happier .
I've been taking my (now) 19 year old Honda Magna to Sean at All Makes for the past 3 years (I bought it used three years ago when it was in pretty good condition for a bike that was then 16 years old, but now 3 years later with another 6000 or so miles on the bike, it's so much better than it was when I got it thanks to the work Sean has done on it ....he does everything right! Now at 19 years of age, my 1994 Magna runs as well (if not better) as the brand new Magna I had back in 1982.
Sean works on every brand of motorcycles and his experience and his dedication to his work are as good as it gets. He's fixed things I thought might beyond repair or complex at times with just finding a loose electrical connection, or finding a cable that needed a simple adjustment.
He doesn't work cheap - but you get what you pay for.
He also wont sell you services you don't need - even if you think you do! He's actually talked me out of work I thought the bike needed (things like new brake pads, etc.).
He runs a one-man operation and somehow he always seems to have around a dozen bikes in his workshop at any given time......I guess the long time motorcycle owners in the area all know the quality of his work since he seems to always be busy; yet he gets the work done amazingly quickly. If he has to order a part, that might take a day or two to get, but once he has what he needs he completes the work right away (at least that's been my experience). He's also saved me a good deal of money by telling me to order parts on-line and bringing them to him....his reason is that it costs him more to buy from suppliers than it does for his customers like me (I think it has something to do with minimum shipping costs that are very high for him for reasons he explained but I can't remember - and don't really need to write about here even if I did) - bottom line is that he's exceptionally fair and tries to control unnecessary costs for his customers.
Five stars - more if that were possible!
As I mentioned, he works on every brand of bike - yet he seems to know more about my Magna (a bike that's been out of production since 2002) than the mechanics at the Honda dealership...and while I've seen just about every Japanese and European brand bike I've heard of (and some I hadn't) at his shop, it seems he always has a bunch of Harleys in his shop at any given time.
If your bike is in need of service - anything from an oil change to a complete re-build, if you want top notch work done on it, this is the guy!
I am new to the area and needed a tune up and 2 new tires for my 2002 Honda Shadow 1100. I did not have a ride to from and to the shop and was able to arrange with the owner to come early in the morning and wait for the bike to be fixed. While in Connecticut my signal lights only work sporadically. When I asked at a shop in CT they said it would be difficult to find the problem. So I've gone 4 years checking if the blinkers were on and using hand signals when they weren't. I always worried on right turns that most people do not know what that signal is. After finishing working on my bike I mentioned this to the owner. For a moment he paused, and then asked if I had ever used a cable to jump start the bike. I had. He replaced one part and now I have signals. The cost for all this work was under $500. I was extremely impressed with their work.
