My toddler likes turtle so she had a blast while we were there. Love to find random turtle outside while going to the parking lot.
Wonderful wildlife refuge for turtles. Today saw large adults in various stages of rehab. One 177 lbs, was picked up to bring into clinic. Very cool for my grandson
Awesome time. Great people volunteering their time to help the sea turtles. Really cool seeing the turtles up close
This is a great place to take kids of all ages. We were warned that the actual tour was a bit old for our 3 and 5 year olds but they loved just looking at the turtles. I like how they let you look inside the veterinary clinic for the turtles. The museum portion is really well done.
Incredible rescue, rehabilitate, and release sea turtle hospital with a focus on wildlife conservation. Highly recommend checking out the exhibit inside and doing the junior vet program for kids. Obviously the tanks of sea turtles are a must see. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Donations recommended- if you didn't want to support the mission prior to your visit you'll definitely want to after.
