Conner Preserve

Loved it! Always grab a map. Note: there was a different preserve map mixed in with Conner. Hosed down clothes with bug spray and I was off. Yes it was about half mile before you reached marker 3, which the post was down. But if you look at map you will see it is on left side of plane field. I started on the east side first. Overgrown but manageable. I wore pants due to cooments about being overgrown. Also brought hiking stick. I did 4 mi on east side. About 30% shade. Wore light weight long sleeve. I went in June during drought. So no flooded trails on either side. Only did 2 1/2 mi on west side. Will have to come back to do the rest of west side. Which is probably another 5 mi. The plane field is a nice shady spot to chill for 10 min and enjoy the surroundings. Overall except marker 3, trail well marked. Not sure about remainder of trails I didn't get too. Bring water and hat! Enjoyed this hike!

Great place to bring the family and kids to get back to nature. Lots of walking and biking trail.
