I highly recommend this place. If you are looking for caring, kind staff this is the place for you. Kayla (ultrasounds) is wonderful. She took the time to explain everything to me, she answered all my questions. Kuddos to this place?
The staff was great and made me feel very comfortable. Little to no wait time and the MRI tech was very knowledgeable and friendly. They told me they had to schedule me a week out because insurance companies typically take 4-5 days to send authorization and confirm they will pay for the MRI, which is understandable. I wish the insurance companies these days weren't so slow but I know from working in the medical field that they often drag their feet. They told me if I didn't want to wait, I could always pay out-of-pocket which was only $250. I thought MRI's were thousands, so that was cool. Also, my doctor got my results in about a day or so. Will definitely go back to Akumin in Trinity the next time I need a study done.
