I absolutely love this place! Great place to come with family or friends for a nice outdoor lunch or big yummy dinner. The lobster ravioli is my favorite - it even has a large grilled shrimp on top of each ravioli. All the seafood is amazing, and the non seafood items are fantastic too. Especially the burger. The management and staff are super friendly. Beat restaurant in Tarpon Springs!
Cricket was a wonderful waitress. She explained the menu and answered my many questions about oysters and the many ways they cooked them. The food was excellent. I couldn't finish the sampler platter after eating half a peck of raw oysters.
The tables are made from doors covered with expoxy resin and each had a unique design. One has an actual snake buried in the epoxy.
Thanks Cricket! We'll be back next year!
Place was very good and great atmosphere. Steak had awesome flavor cooked perfectly. The seafood my girl friend ordered was amazing as well. It was an entire bucket pretty much full to the brim. The oysters were obviously delicious as well. Highly recommend and will for sure be going back all the time.
Overall loved it. Did not like the hostess who said she had to wait 5 minutes between seating each party. Restaurant had 9+ empty tables yet with 5 parties ahead of us she said it would be a 45.minute wait. Understandable if all the empty tables were in one section but this wasn't the case. If I were a waiter I'd be mad, empty tables don't produce tips. One bartender on duty on a Friday night totally overwhelmed making bar and dining drinks. We waited 15.minutes for drinks at the bar while waiting our 45 minutes and looking at more and more empty tables. She was super nice and friendly but really was working as fast as she could. Waiter was great but did have some mix ups on orders. Food was very good. Nice atmosphere and vibe.
Management really needs to teach those hostesses how to run the front because they are just going to annoy people. When she said 45.minutes and I saw 5 people on the list I looked around and counted all the empty cleaned tables and saw another 4 tables with checks on their tables. That shouldn't even be a wait!!
I'm not a big seafood person, but the food was well worth the try! I ordered the crab cakes with their Cajun rice. Everything was flavorful and filling! The only down fall that I had was that the red sangria I ordered was not good. Tasted more like a club soda. The waiter was EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. Will definitely be going back!
