I moved to Florida as my older dog's health was further declining with conditions that were slowly terminal. I learned about Westlake Animal Hospital from a friend in Tarpon Springs. Due to the pandemic, I only spoke with Dr. Don at Westlake a couple of times on the phone before my most recent appointment. On the phone calls, I formed the opinion that Dr. Don is a wise and compassionate vet--an opinion that was confirmed when I took my dog in last week due to frequent urination issues. Dr. Don came out to my car to go over the sad results from my dog's blood test. He helped lay out some options for quality of life issues, and offered comforting suggestions for my dog's poor health in such a kind and compassionate way. I very much appreciated his empathy and professional support. Thank you!

I truly love the boarding at Westlake animal. Everybody is kind and helpful. Brittney has been very patient with me and explaining what needs to be done vaccine etc. And when my puppy came home he seemed so happy and he had no accidents for the first 2 days after he came home as he is not totally housebroken yet. They are fabulous.

The team of veterinarians and support staff at Westlake Animal Hospital are the best in the Palm Harbor area. We trust them, implicitly, to care for our furry friends. They are a knowledgeable team who truly care about our beloved pets.
