“Ocean Fitness Yoga is awesome! I have attended many of Kerry's yoga sessions on the beach and I have enjoyed every single one! The Full Moon Chakra yoga sessions are my favorite! We get to connect with ourselves and howl at the moon. So opening and fun! Kerry also held a private beach yoga session for my sister, friends, and I when they were visiting from Ohio. So much fun! Kerry is a true mermaid. She has inspired me to get my own paddle board and am working towards strengthening my core so I can yoga on SUP with her! Every paddle trip she takes is a magical experience with dolphin, manatee, and sea creatures. Can't wait to get out there and yoga on my board! “There’s been such an improvement of the community centers and it’s immediate facilities since we’ve been Dunedin residents. The community center itself is well laid out and always clean. The people working there are pleasant and accommodating. We have an autistic daughter and she likes to run around in the basketball court on a cold or rainy day from time to time and it’s never been a problem. They offer many classes and host or are involved with numerous community events every year. I do miss the pavilion over the lake especially when the Highland Games are held each year but it’s still lovely spot. The community center is very family friendly. There’s a good sized playground that is fenced in and mostly shaded. Life saver with kids that are runners! There’s also another playground in the back area (connected by a gate from the enclosed playground) that is open and faces a basketball court. There are some shaded picnic tables and clean restrooms nearby. Lots of paths leaving here connecting to nearby splash pad (free and fenced in), another open playground, tennis courts, baseball fields, The Fine Arts Center, and the massive hammock park with more trials and playgrounds. Worth spending the day in the area with your family.”

The admissions staff were very helpful in explaining the process and helping us to get what we needed. His therapists were genuine and hard working...and made him work! When it was time to move on, social services kicked into gear and again, got us what we needed and fast! Good experience overall!”

“Hello everyone, My mother has been a resident of Bayou Gardens Dunedin for 2 years. She is happy there and so do I. I visit her very frequently. I say hello, wave and converse with some of their residents. They seem happy and I haven't heard anyone complaining about the facility. My mother feels like she is part of a big wonderful family. The management and the staff are super amazing. They are sweet, kind, compassionate, respectful, hard workers, efficient and very helpful. They do take the time to get to know the residents and what are their needs. It is very easy to talk to the staff if you should have any questions or concerns. As soon as you walk in the building you can feel the love, respect and commitment of the staff that it makes you feel that this is the perfect place for your loved one to live. They are taking care of my precious mother and that gives me peace of mind. I do trust them 100% . I would recommend Bayou Gardens Dunedin for the care of your loved one. They are great! “I was a mess when I walked into Dr Hirshorn office. I had been run off the road while on my motorcycle by a huge dump truck. I slammed into the side of a mountain in NC. I broke many bones including my neck and shattered my femur. I was in a coma for a couple weeks followed by a month in the hospital. Durning my stay they tried to repair my femur. All they managed to do was make a complete mess out of it. Ran screws through the ball of my hip and into the hip joint putting me in unbearable pain, a leg several inches short. And not able to walk for a year! I was depressed, in pain and without hope. Dr. Hirshorn took one look at my X-rays then looked at me and said I live to fix people like you! I am 6 weeks out and already walking with one crutch and eyeballing the cane sitting in the corner. I will be forever grateful and can’t thank the doctor enough for giving me my life back!”

The building itself was very clean and professional looking but also comfortable. It was quick, and pretty much painless, although I suppose that's an individual experience. Although there was one protestor it didn't really bother me and they made sure I was aware of all the risks and at any time I felt I could have backed out if I so choose. Just an all around helpful place during such a stressful time.”
