“We came today to check Sir David’s out. We didn’t actually stay here(yet but def plan on it)we came for the day. It’s a nice quaint place to come and relax 2 Catch some Florida sun w/out that large crowds on the beach. While this place is still getting off the ground, the owners seem committed 2 offering an adults only environment. Room number 2(very clean, decorated very nicely)was being used as the bathroom as the public bathroom/sauna/locker room are was being updated. Plenty of seating areas w/outside refrigerator 2 put your cold drinks in as well. This place is making it work and I wish them the best as they continue 2 grow. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place as a get away for the day or a mini staycation.”

“Kiona and Josh at the front desk were amazingly accommodating after a few mishaps out of the hotels control during Tropical Storm Eta. Breakfast was good! bacon, sausage, omelets, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, oatmeal, cereal and etc. Breakfast attendants served you what you wanted and greeted you with a smile. Beds were super comfy with crisp clean sheets.”

“We just enjoyed a quick one night stay at the Surfside Cabanas and had a great experience. The building is STEPS from the sand, really clean and decorated nicely with a funky beach theme. Checking in was a good experience as the lady at check in had answers to all my questions on the area and they had the interaction protected with dividers and least contact possible during covid times. The place is VERY pet friendly which is hard to find! We will definitely be back!❤???”

“My best friend and I stayed for a few days while I was in town buying a new house. We were blown away with how incredibly friendly everyone was! Shout out to Loiuse, Pam, Jessica, Rafael and Gina. You all made our trip amazing! And the food at the restaurant- it’s to die for! We ate breakfast, lunch & dinner there at the hotel every night. I’ve told my entire family how amazing the food & service was. Now that we’re in town I can’t wait to bring them with me to taste the amazing food! Thanks for a great stay!”

“Nice hotel for the price. Easy access to the facility from the garage and easy to spot when driving around. The room we had was in good repair and was clean. It had a twin and a king bed that were comfortable. The restaurant at the top called Spinners was amazing albeit was about $140 for two with tip. The other restaurants, two of them, were only offering limited menus due to COVID-19 so hard to comment on their food.Great access to the beach and I can imagine it would be a fantastic setting for a wedding. The only negatives were that the rooms didn't have comfortable chairs to sit in and the gentleman at the front desk during checkout was quite surly. The young lady during check-in was fantastic though. I would describe this as a hotel on the beach, not a resort. But for the price you won't feel cheated.”

“From the minute I checked in Ronda at the front was more than accommodating, She was able to get 2 rooms side by side which we needed and explained where everything was at the hotel. Rooms were clean and extremely comfortable.. location was everything! It was all so easy in and out even with a group of 7 girls ! Upon check out David with his friendly self was able to accommodate us by letting use still use the pool after check out! We can’t not stress how awesome our stay was!! Recommend!!!”

“THE BEST VALUE IN ST.PETE BEACH! I was there for a 14 day stay 2 weeks ago. Do not book anywhere else! The property is immaculate, the suites provide EVERYTHING you need and more, from a fully stocked kitchen with a full size refrigerator, washer and dryer FREE TO USE on property, grills, beautiful lighted pool at night, picnic tables with umbrellas for shade, to the linen closet with aloe for to much sun... nothing is forgotten here! The owners are WONDERFUL people, very accommodating and will make you feel right at home! Everything is within walking distance including the beach which is just a 3 minute stroll! Call Gulfside before you book anywhere else.. you won’t be sorry and you will go back every year! I met Kathy and her brother Jim...( forgot to mention Resort is family owned) I consider them friends of mine now... Great people, Beautiful place, a memory I’ll never forget!”

“Friendly staff, clean rooms and very spacious! The grounds are beautiful, so many flowers and bushes. The pool is clean and has fun different color lights at night. The beach is gorgeous and because there are so few rooms at the hotel, it feels like a private beach. I hadn’t been to The Sea Chest since I was a little girl, 20 years ago, but it’s exactly how I remember. My husband was very impressed too and we’ve decided this will be our new vacation spot in the future. We also enjoyed playing shuffle board one evening. Thank you, Maria and staff for a wonderful visit!”

“FANTASTIC beach front location - 2 great restaurants literally across the street - convenience store one block away.....I didn't need a car, everything I needed was right there for a stress-less ultra-relaxing vacation. The staff, both Diane and the owner, were so, so nice and approachable. I traveled alone and my room was one bedroom, oceanfront...looking right at the waves. Super clean, comfortable and very cold air and ceiling fans. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker - plenty of linens. I didn't have to ask for a thing. Pool and hot tub are amazing and the grounds are very well maintained. I was literally so happy with my choice. Definitely independently owned (not a big chain name) - but so charming and literally, there could not be a closer spot to the beach. The restaurants across the street were great - Screwies (breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks), or Dockside Dave's (lunch, dinner, drinks). Both have inside/outside seating......the Grouper and scallops at Dave's.........soooo good. Thank you so much and I WILL return!”

“This place is a gem! It's quaint, simple and perfect for a relaxing beach weekend in pass-a-grill. The staff was so kind and accommodating and I loved that they text you so I could ask questions via text anytime. I also appreciated the easy, contactless check in process. We stayed in the Juniper room and it was small but perfect. Newly renovated and clean and it was so nice to have a kitchenette. The location is walking distance to all of the restaurants nearby and just steps to the beach. I loved that the rooms came with a small beach cooler and access to beach chairs, beach towels, and bikes! We will have to come back!”

“We needed a last minute place to stay since we extended our trip on Treasure Island. Westwinds was amazing! We can't say enough good things about it. The manager is super kind and helpful. We had a view of the bay and our condo was spotless! There were 3 docks, a pool, and grilling area. The beach was right across the street, and the resort was in the perfect location! We loved our stay at Westwinds and will be staying here again in the future.”

“Reasonable price for a very nice room. My room was clean and quiet, very spacious. All staff I encountered were courteous and helpful. While there was no breakfast buffet due to COVID19, the desk clerk offered me a decent choice of items in a "Go Bag" that worked just fine for my morning meal. There is also a Shari's Restaurant directly across the street. I would definitely stay at this Clarion Hotel in Portland again.”
