When we started our school search in 2008, we thought we were going to have a very difficult time finding the perfect fit for our children. After visiting three schools, choosing SPS was the easiest decision we have made as parents. Through the transition in leadership, the academics have remained strong and perfectly tailored to meet the needs of our children. “Plato academy across the board is a fantastic school with great progams. After a waiting list of two years, my three children started at Tarpon Plato in 2012 and now go to Palm Harbor. They all work hard to get the best grades, something I feel the school has instilled in them and we continue at home. Homework is everyday so prepare to see alot of it. It's the academic structure that keeps them on task to upcoming homework, projects and tests. Socially children are super respectful to each other and teachers as I've noticed over the 6 years. I highly recommend!”

As a parent, I feel like I am always welcome and always invited to be a part of my child's education. The office staff is beyond excellent. Parents and students just love them. BSCS approach to teaching and curriculum is beyond words. My child has thrived at this school and my questions, concerns and suggestions are always addressed. “Very mixed bag, this includes different teachers, styles, programs, classes, and of course the ever changing classes. Just like any High School it constantly changes and is a different experience for everyone. But one thing that stays consistent is the well-kept and brand new architecture of the school. With it being built recently everything seems decently fresh. Except some rooms have wall paint chipping, the bathrooms have the usual graffiti, and the outside bench tables seem like they haven't been washed since last month's rain. Also, the interior hall floors seem to have some sort of crack lines, or stress indentations, i don't know if this was done on purpose for design or done in over time, but it gives it a very old and cheap feel which I'm not too crazy about. Of course the building exterior makes up for this, as it's very extravagant, and you could very clearly see where the architect was very biased. Desks and chairs are nice and refreshing apart from 90s style attached chairs and desk combo. I personally enjoy my time here, it seems like there's a little bit for everyone and almost anyone can fit in anywhere. Tons of activities, sports, clubs, and classes to take. Some teachers are more engaged than others, some are downright terrible and get fired for the 6th DUI, but it's all normal when it comes to High School. As a school rating, Largo is a loose 6/10. But as a High School, I'd say a solid 8/10. Pretty nice.”

“First of all, I'm part of the 2014 class. To be fair most high schools are full of brats but a lot of the ones here are just rich ones, some of the teachers are kind of disinterested in what they do, but I got lucky with a few teachers. Cyberbullying is an issue that is everywhere today no matter which school you go to. At the very least the engineering program that this school has is VERY enjoyable and I do not regret being a part of it one bit, also the library is quite well stocked with books and there's no shortage from extracurricular activities. I think they also still serve Domino's pizza during lunch every day now.”
