“Went for Fri. Brunch and were lucky enough to be served by Amy. Wife had Short Ribs Benedict and I had the Meat Lovers Omelette. Both dishes were brought to our table quickly and were plentiful, fresh and very tasty. An added bonus was Dan the Manager was going around making sure patrons were being taken care of. The view was incredibly beautiful and all in all one the best meals we have enjoyed lately. Kudos to Amy, Dan and the Chefs for making this a most enjoyable experience...already planning on returning 😀”

“I found parking and accessibility off I-275 and Gandy to be quite easy. Once I entered the church I was pleased to see coffee and danishes. What a nice start to my morning before the service. When I sat down some ladies introduced themselves to me and made me feel really comfortable. This church is an amazing facility, a beautiful building. They are in the transition of finding a new pastor right now, but have an interim clergyman filling in. FBC of St. Petersburg has tremendous potential to be rejuvenated and to do great things in our community. They need YOU and your family though. If you're looking for a place to attend church I would encourage you to come help build this church up and help get them to their full potential.”

“In Pinellas County, you have many options for your child's education. You have public schools, charter & magnet schools, home or virtual schooling, private schools, etc. One great ~free~ option offered through the county are fundamental schools. These schools provide a structured environment and a back to basics approach. They focus on student responsibility and parent participation. Admission is decided by lottery. We sometimes truly feel like we won a lottery when our daughter was granted access to this program. It was written in a derogatory newspaper article that the county has made fundamental schools available only to white affluent families. I disagree whole heartedly. We are neither affluent nor white. Do your research, do your best for your kids and their education where ever that might be. Staying involved is key for all parents no matter their color. With regard to Curtis, it's a wonderful school and we are happy with the foundation it has provided our daughter.”

“Great service, Carl in the service department sends an email right back to me when I have questions almost immediately. When I have requested service, it is usually timely. A few times I was not charged for mobile service and then without notification, I was, but when I inquired with management, it was waived for only an additional time. Josh the St. Pete Gulfport Manager waived it for me and I appreciate it since it was almost $300. I now understand there is a charge. I will be bringing my boat in for bottom painting this Friday. MarineMax was able to grant this request within a week. Again, Carl has been great about communicating with me to make arrangements to bring in my SeaRay and stated it will take about a week. That’s reasonable since I can’t use the boat during the week due to work and can do without it this weekend. The only issue I have with MarineMax is pricing. They are a little high for the 100 hour service, but just by a little; however, that’s gas money ($900 v $700 I paid for my 200 hr. with another company). For the bottom paint job, I was quoted $2300 and another competitor was $2000 but could not get it done until late August. Update, just had bottom paint job done within the time specified and looks great. Hopefully it does it’s job and anti-fouls well. Price was the exact quoted. I’ll see in a few weeks. Didn’t realize Carl had already left MarineMax when I went to pick up my boat and saw Ben Tenney there, who is also awesome with communication and needs. He was able to get me out the door and out to sea. Thanks, guys and MM!”

Todd is very knowledgeable and I was able to demo a couple boards as my goal was to have a hard board, displacement hull as an addition to my current first board an isup, planing hull… but had never paddled one. What I thought I would like did not end up being the one, when I paddled the one I bought it was like it had been waiting for me to find it! Small shop, message or call to be sure he is there as he may be just up the street on a demo and worth it to check his place and amazing service and beautiful boards before you decide. The TV was a flat screen appropriate size and had full Spectrum cable service. Very comfortable bed. If you want a fancy four or five-star hotel you will be disappointed. If you would like a comfortable room with a small complete kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, stove with oven and a good value it is a great choice. I would go back.”

“First time at Screaming Jalapeño. Loved that we could sit outside and that they are dog friendly. We ordered their Shrimp Tacos and Filet Colorado. Our $14 top shelf margaritas were delicious, very smooth. Dragonfruit Mojito was excellent. We did not like our food that much. Filet Colorado was tough, chewy, and very flat, like they completely forgot to season it. There was no flavor. Shrimp in tacos were small. Our friends ordered chips and queso, it actually tasted good. I wouldn't come for food but I would visit for tasty drinks outside. Service was good so a 4 start rating instead of 3.”
