“I was one of a very few that have had complications at surgery. That being said, I couldn't speak any higher of my experience post-op, and the level of care by Dr. Peraglie. He has always been upfront and made sure I was on track. I am 14 months post op and I have reduced my hypertension medicines to almost nothing and my uncontrollable diabetes is now controlled (5.8 A1C) with one pill as opposed to several pills and unlimited insulin. I am careful to follow all instructions but have returned to eat everything I have always enjoyed. My weight loss is over 100 lbs., and I feel great. “My daughter has been seeing Dr. Riaz for a couple of years now and I cannot speak highly enough about this Doctor or his Nursing staff. My daughter has been struggling with Epilepsy and seizure disorder for more than 15/yrs, along with other cognitive issues. I have driven my daughter from the hospital ER to Dr. Riaz's office without an appointment and they have seen her immediately. They've called to follow-up and check on my daughter after an episode The Doctor takes his time to not only explain medication or treatment changes to me but also to my daughter in terms SHE can understand and he makes sure that she's an active participant in her care and treatment plans. Dr. Riaz and his staff make sure that I as an EXTREMELY frustrated and frightened parent feel heard and not disregarded. And to be perfectly honest I'm not the easiest person to deal with especially where by baby is concerned, but I have never felt as if they weren't listening to me or that they were being anything other than caring and professional. The only bad thing I can think of to say is that I wish they were open on Friday, since I only work until noon. But losing a few hours of sick/vacation time is worth knowing that my daughter is being taken care of...”
