“Our first visit to the new digs. There was a pack house so we ate outside. Glad it was nice outside or it could have been brutal. I gauge my BBQ on brisket. I got the dinner plate that consisted of some moist and meaty slices. Very tender and enough smokey flavor. My sides were the coleslaw and collards. Both really good. I would have preferred a bit of ham hock in the collards. My wife got the pulled pork with fries. She really like both and said fries were really crispy. We got a side of fried green tomatoes. A bit small as they were cut in half but tasty nonetheless. They had a variety of sauces to choose from. I had the Rump Roaster as it was their "hottest." Good but not hot.”

“It's a friendly, family -run Cuban restaurant. It was my first time there. I only ordered the sandwich. It was what I really wanted and it was quite good. It's the item I judge Cuban food by. It is surprising how badly some places can make a very bad Cuban sandwich. The shopping center that it's in is rather old and run down, but don't let that stop you, the food is very good and fresh.”
