Trailhead Park Playground

Great new park. Didn't give a five star though due not enough shade in the playground part. Anything not shaded gets really hot in the summer. The splash pad is a big plus. Bathrooms were clean. Plenty of parking when we went.

We go to this park often! My kiddos love the splash pad and I love the covered seating. On Saturdays there are often parties taking up the picnic table so I sit in other shaded areas. Def. Recommend wearing water shoes as the splash pad area gets slippery! The only reason why it didn't get 5 stars is that often the patrons of the park leave their trash all over the place...esp. on Saturdays.

This place was a lot of fun but make sure your kids are seriously aware that the splash pad is super slippery. My children wore their water shoes and that really helped but there were children slipping and sliding all around taking spills and someone could be seriously injured. Also be aware that children jump back and forth between the park area and the splash pad so slides, swings, and stairs are often wet.

Very nice park for kids. There are a lot of things for them to do. Grounds and equipment are maintained with plenty of parking. While there is shade over tables and around the perimeter from trees there is no shade over the play ground itself. So, if going middle of the day ensure kids have shoes and either avoid the slides or have long pants or shorts on.

The park was not packed and it was very well maintained. I am extremely impressed with the upkeep of this park and it’s facilities. The park offers so much and is completely free. The children can have a lot of fun here. I would come here every day if I could.
