Polk State College in Winter Haven

I graduated with my AA in 2018 and I'm happy I went there. Professors are good overall, with only a few nightmares in between. This can be easily avoided through "ratemyprofessor" online, though. Always look them up before signing up with them. There were always plenty of events going on, even if as someone so asocial I didn't participate. The campus is pretty and small -- nice and quiet. If that's not your thing then you won't like the atmosphere, but that was definitely my thing. Library is to die for as well. It's been recently renovated and looks great. The only complaint I REALLY had as a student was their administration department. Long waits, no emails back, etc. Do well to shove your needs down their throat or they'll forget you even signed in sometimes. Overall, GREAT school for the money. Definitely get your AA here and save yourself the price tag of UF or UCF before ultimately attending whatever college you REALLY want to go to.

I saw a show there called "As Is" starring Michael Burke. What a wonderfully talented theatre group. Bravo!
