Bayfront Park

  The park itself is wonderful and picturesque, but trying to get there from US 41 is challenging. A lot of dog walking and looking at boats seemed like the plan of the day. Stopped at O'Leary's for a quick snack and a drink. There are swing benches, but it's best if you bring your own chair.

  Bayfront park is my favorite in the Sarasota area. Close to dining and small artisan shops. Theatres and city life close by. Peaceful and serene by the Gulf. During the day or at night. Family friendly, has restrooms, tables, benches, plenty to do and a easy walk.

  Great place to spend the afternoon! My kids loved the playground but the splash pad was closed and it was a super hot day! Nice little walk around the marina, lots to look at and enjoy!

  Very nice park facing the waters and marina. The playground was of course the main highlight. The playground was well shaded by trees AND canopies. Perfect spot to cool down while letting our daughter play. There is also a set of tunnels at one end of the play area with plenty of seats.

  very relaxing with nice views of the beach, got a few bench swings!

  Parking was completely packed on Saturday at 5pm, but I walked over from the Marie Selby gardens parking.
  romantic date: Marie Selby gardens followed by lunch at O'Leary's cafe, walk through Bayfront Park, sitting on a bench swing facing the water.
  public restrooms are clean, but the toilets are interestingly low and cold stainless steel
