Perfect place for uniting with nature and mentally rest)

Beautiful park. I would recommend if camping, do so in the fall and winter months.

First time coming to this park and I have lived in Bradenton for 7 years 😂 Definitely make the trip to come here, $6 per vehicle and the volunteer working at the entrance was super nice. She gave us a pamphlet, asked us what we were interested in doing and then showed us the best spots. We saw a deer and their baby, a lady painting the gorgeous flowers AND there was an outlook area where you could go above the trees. Throughout the park there are little signs that explain more about the wildlife and plants. They offer Bike and Kayak rentals which I’ll have to do the next time I come. Fantastic park!

Captain Bob was great on the boat tour. The tram tour was interesting also. You get to see so many different environments and animals. Boat is a bit loud but comfortable. The tram creaks but the driver is a great story teller.

The food was absolutely amazing! The gift shop area had such a variety of items to purchase as souvenirs and art. Plenty of seating outside on the top deck out around the river that had shade and open area as well. A must place to go!!!
