“100% worth the drive from Lakewood Ranch to my now favorite (more than your average) butcher shop! Several friends have raved about the marinated meat they get from here. I’m usually not a fan of marinated meats because I like to do that myself but they have a unique process they use with their marinating machine (I just made that up because I don’t know what it’s called but I know what it does! Anyway, the owners are very friendly and they have premium meats and a big selection of rubs, marinades, sides and pre-prepped appetizers. They had the Australian Roast Lamb that I had been looking for all over town for and some gorgeous bone in rib-eye’s, all cut to the exact same thickness, which will make my husband very happy when he grills them. They also have a VIP list that I joined to receive special offers, customer appreciation events and notifications of when seasonal products are in. Ask for Krista and she will take great care of you.”

“AAP industrial was a true lifesaver for me. My capacitor went out on my AC unit in the middle of July! It just so happened it was a Sunday. Monday morning I called AAP and spoke with Todd and he had the capacitor I needed in stock. It was $20 less than Grainger and the same price as a Chinese made unit from Amazon prime. When I arrived, his technician George tested my old capacitor for me at no charge to confirm it was faulty. Needless to say I was very impressed. My air-conditioning company would’ve charged me $350 for a Sunday service call and capacitor replacement. For less than $50 I was able to do it with the help of AAP. I highly recommend them for any of your electrical/motor pump repair needs. Some small businesses say they cannot compete with Amazon. Todd and the staff at AAP are proof that you can not only compete, but far exceed them through customer service and human connection. “I stayed one night this past weekend because I had a friend vacationing in Siesta Key who I was coming to visit. I arrived much earlier than check in allowed and just wanted to park my car so I could walk down to the beach and her condo, but the front desk agent kindly allowed me to check in early, which allowed me to get settled quickly and then go about my day. I didn't spend much time in the room, but it was immaculately clean and roomy with a spacious kitchenette. There is also a pool nearby that they share with the surrounding resorts. The walkway to the beach is very close and took less than 2 minutes to get to the beautiful white sand. I did have a few mosquitos in my room, but I think that was probably due to the location of my room which was tucked away in the foliage (where mosquitos hang out). Overall this was an excellent find considering the location and the value. I'm already looking at dates next year to come back and bring the family this time!”

“Service Above and Beyond We really like our GE refrigerator we recently bought at Appliance Max for our garage, and feel we got a good price. The interior light doesn't always come on so Appliance Max sent repairman Nicholas out today. He resolved the issue (covered under warrantee). While he was here I showed Nicholas our dishwasher (not purchased from Appliance Max). The dishwasher was askew and sticking out on one side. He took the time to set it correctly in place. I offered to pay him but he refused payment! We appreciate Appliance Max for honoring their warrantee and backing their products--and we thank Nicholas for going above and beyond. PS: update: The light stopped working so Nicholas came out again and ordered a new switch for the freezer. While here he showed me how to adjust our ice maker in our kitchen fridge, no charge. So impressed with Nicholas and Appliance Max's service!”

“I brought a group of 52 people from the Riverside Club Golf and Marina Community in Ruskin to spend the evening at PopStroke. Some went right out and played the two different putt courses and the others went in to eat. They have an upstairs bar and two bars downstairs all with TVs to watch sports games. They have a play area for kids like a jungle gym. They also have two foosball tables, two ping-bong tables, and two cornhole games. You can order drinks while you're on the putt courses and one of the many helpers will bring it to you.”
