“Had my roof take some pretty bad damage from the hurricane and with so many companies in the area I had a tough time trying to figure out who to use. Well I called the guys here to come out for a quote and Earle showed up same day. He was great. Got up there looked around for about 30min and came back down got the quote together and was on his way. After calling around for other quotes these guys were pretty cheap compared to the rest so I went with them. They didn’t disappoint. They were quick and hardworking and finished up a day before they anticipated. Hopefully I won’t need a new roof anytime soon but if I do I’ll be using ball contracting again for sure. “My Mom, has been in Beneva Lakes Assisted Living Center for two years now. I've visited twice for four weeks during that time, saw the staff operate, Nurses provide care and overall cleanliness daily. The facility is well maintained, the Nurses and Receptionists are ALL friendly and go out of the way to help. The rooms are large, there's a game room, a library, Nurses stations, daily package/mail delivery, and a nice dining room. Even the hallways always look good. My mom, unexpectedly lost her vision to cataracts, which makes double tough for her until cataract surgery, but she has been managing well with help from the staff. The one thing that all the residents here complain about is the food, but I am told they are working on improving it. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU TO ALL THE WONDERFUL NURSES AND RECEPTIONISTS THAT TAKE SUCH GOOD CARE OF MY MOM.”

“Camped at Big Flats with my family the weekend of April 15th. The campsite is very nice with a fair amount of shade in the spots. The sites are a little small compared to other state parks, but not tiny. They are trying to grow new foliage between the sites and it was pretty clear there was a lot of damage to the trees from Hurricane Ian in 2022. The host, Peter, was friendly and helpful. Other campers were respectful of the quiet time. Bathrooms were dated but very clean. I would stay here again but probably wait until the weather is cooler as it was very hot in the day and there is no water area like a lake or spring to cool off. The Myakka Lake is FILLED with gators so there is no swimming. Incredible sunsets from just down the street over Big Flat Marsh where we saw deer, turkey and gators.”
