“Review for new Heat pump install and Air Handler. Initially, I was not sure about going with a small HVAC contractor, but Steve and his install team met my expectations. His install team, Frank numerous years of experience in HVAC industry, Tara (new member to the team, I hope I got her name correct), and Jason, have beaten my expectations. Also, I couple of things that swayed my decision to use them is they have no complaints on BBB (Better Business Bureau), licensed HVAC contractor, licensed electrician, and zero negative reviews on Google, Yelp or other reviewer sites. I interviewed and got quotes from multiple top HVAC contractors in Central Florida listed in Angie's list and Home Advisor with great reviews. The quotes that I received from these contractors were much higher than Steve's, and they would not negotiate the price, most of them stated they wouldn't able to match or beat Steve's quoted price. I took a chance went with Steve, and I was glad I did that. At the end, he saved me $ and there team did excellent work. Work they did for the new install. They added 3/4 inch plywood to reinforce the base of the air handler, put in new flow drain switch to shut off air handler if it ever backs up, soldered the new copper connections less splices, previous installer used multiple splices, so it has multiple joints, more prone of having a leak in the future. Probably did other things that went over my head. On the outside condenser unit, added new hurricane straps and bolted down in concrete. Changed the breakers in the electrical panel and installed the Nest thermostat that I have bought. After the all the work was done, Steve the owner double checked all the work done was according to expectations and checked all the modes of the thermostat are working. I would highly recommend them and use them in the near future for service. Update: City of Winter Springs Inspection passed. Steven Perry the owner took care of submitting all the documents necessary for the warranty and Duke energy rebate. My credit showed up on my next monthly bill. Also received a paperwork for the warranty confirmation and copy of Installation/Service manuals.”
