“Great park for family events, company picnics, and recreational activities, including soccer. The parking has been vastly improved making it easier to find the back playground and pavilions. The sand volleyball courts are well kept and there is plenty of shade to avoid the sun. The playground, in the back area, is probably intended for older kids ~ 4+ but still toddler friendly with a sandbox. Lots of area to spread out or have a group game.”

“Black Hammock trailhead to Crosswinds park is great section! Lots of shade, and very few street crossings. 4 miles there, 4 miles back, making it family friendly. There are also a few restaurants a bit further down the trail to stop for lunch or dinner.”

“I've seen the parking area on the side of the road for years and finally stopped to take a look today. I'm sure it's not big, but I can't wait to come back with the family. It's absolutely beautiful. It is a nature trail, so it's not wheelchair friendly, but otherwise most anybody can enjoy this wonderous hike.”
