“This place is a nice history museum that one can check out in like 30 minutes or less. They have lots of local history and memorabilia from around their community. When I toured it they had a cute Halloween costume display that included steampunk items. I thought it was a clever display. Its a cute building. Staff was very open and friendly without hovering.”

“One of the best decisions I've made in a long time; on my last week of a 6 week challenge at Training for Warriors lake Mary. The coaches & members there couldn't be more helpful and encouraging. The gym may be small, but it's all heart in there, everyone is there to better themselves and you can pick up on that right away. There are absolutely no egos in the gym either. Jesse is super knowledgeable and is great at explaining stuff no matter what level you're at. If you're on the fence about joining don't be! Training for Warriors Lake Mary really helped me not only physically, but mentally as well. I hope to be a member for a long time!”

“Dalli's is great Italian Food. Pizza is excellent, but its a little more costly than some might be willing to spend for pizza. Their specialty pizza's can get up there in the 20+ dollar range for a single large pie. If you add more toppings you can easily pay 25.00 for a single large pizza. But as they say you get what you pay for, and Dalli's always has fresh top quality ingredients. Another thing I love, is there sauce isn't bland like a lot of these smaller Italian restaurants do. Servers are nice and service is always good. I have eaten here probably 10+ times, and I have never had a bad meal.”

“I've been renting from this property management company for close to 4 years. Five actually I think. I started renting from them at a property in Port Orange called the Bungalows. Everyone was so incredibly friendly there. It was like a family. I was sad to go, but I moved to Hidden Lake to be closer to UCF. A little closer that is. I personally dealt with Jeannie and Heather, and yes, that is who I usually prefer to deal with. The property manager Heather is beyond qualified to run the property. She's been working here for years, so she's very efficient. She's also one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. As for any maintenance issues. My air conditioner froze up once during the summer, but it's Florida. Is that really a big surprise? Maintenance was sent out within 24 hours to fix the unit and I was back in business. The grounds are pretty well maintained. I should know. I can hear the landscapers from my window every Tuesday morning. I have never felt unsafe in this apartment, nor have I really heard that much noise besides the obnoxious drivers that hunk when they go by. This is a pretty solid building, especially during storms. I don't think in the two years that I've lived here, that I've ever lost power. This is a plus for me considering I have online classes. To be truthful, I lost my home and my businesses 5 years ago and Canflor Property Management (owners of Hidden Lake Apartments and Bungalows) were the only ones that would allow me to move in. I was going through the most heartbreaking time in my life, and Canflor was a savior for me. Regardless of the number of sparkling pools and fancy gyms you'd like to have in a complex, I prefer quiet and a staff that goes above and beyond for a stranger like myself. Now, I'm back on my feet and buying another home this summer. The people at Canflor and Hidden Lakes Apartments helped me do this with recommendations and good solid support. Everyone has different experience and expectations when renting, which explains the mixed reviews. I on the other hand loved living at Hidden Lake and I would recommend it to anyone. They also have a some handmade gifts for purchase that are made by participants in the program. It's a wonderful cause to support a Teen Challenge changes the lives of so many.
