Anastasia State Park

So I rented the Pavillion for my reception and got my wedding permit thank you Michele..it was so beautiful. Everything was perfect. The guards made sure we got right in without wait for our special day. The beach the scenery was perfect. They had a food stand with a store for people that wanted drinks or something different from what we catered the bathrooms were right by us. It was awesome with everything near by like hotels for my guest not even a mile away. I had to plan my own wedding and Anastasia State Park was the perfect half way mark for all my guests to drive. It was the perfect place. Than you so much you made my wedding easier and beautiful. Love, Mrs.Michele

We love camping here! The Queen Conch loop is our favorite for tent camping since most of the sites are relatively close to the bathrooms, and there's a playground at one end of the loop for the kiddos to play at while we're at the campsite. The electricity and water spigot at each site are super convenient, and the sink and washer/dryer up by the bathrooms are really handy for longer camping trips. It's also great that there's firewood and ice available from the store up near the beach without leaving the park! So many options of things to do between the beach, fishing area, rental options for kayaks and paddle boards, trips into nearby St. Augustine or to the lighthouse or fort, etc. We typically try to go at the very beginning of the summer before the regular heavy afternoon storms start.

I love Anastasia State Park.

The beach is beautiful & has a lifeguard on duty. They have showers, a playground, and a concessions stand. D

The rentals at the front of the park are reasonably priced and a great place for beginners. Nice spot to take kids out for the first time. Full of birds and jumping fish. Water isn't rough for kayaking.

A perfect spot for a scenic day.

I cannot say enough about how amazing this park was. It was shaded and paved. The camping section is a bit far from the beach area, so you don't get Beach goers wandering through your site. There is a great local market that happens on weekends that you can easily get to. Definitely bring bikes to cruise around on! And the people at the kayak rental are awesome and do tours!
