(January 15, 2020, 6:26 pm)I was seen in the ER today and having been in Health Care for 30+ years I was totally impressed by the care today . Right from walking in the front door to radiology to have a CT done. My PA - Angel - and that she was. So upbeat and pleasant , my nurse Victoria who was knowledgeable, compassionate and two other staff which I didn't get their names but answered a call light in record breaking time. I traveled 44 minutes from home to be seen here because of the mission statement of AdventHealth. I just wish there was another facility closer to my home in case of a life threatening emergency.
(December 22, 2019, 5:22 pm)My husband fell while on vacation. I chose Advent Health over other hospitals because of the good reviews. From start to finish, these dedicated medical professionals were exceptional! He was treated with the utmost care and even though we were in the ER for several hours, it was well worth it. Thank you Marisa who helped get my husband out of the car. The Triage nurse (name?) was attentive and nice. The PA, Eliza, was AMAZING! Nurse Leslie was compassionate! The 2 paramedics who attended are going to make great nurses! I can’t thank everyone enough even those of you I may have forgotten. God Bless All Of You!
(October 1, 2019, 6:59 pm)Had a child transferred from the Advent Deland location and the experience was night and day for the better. We were in the NICU unit with our first child and the staff and doctors were absolutely incredible the whole time. Nursing staff Ron, Jean, Betty, Denise and Dina were top notch in everything they do. I can't thank them all enough for everything. As stressful as it all was they made what better they could. The hospital itself was beautiful there was an area where we could stay with our baby with a small bed and tv and even a private bathroom with a shower ! Everything was clean and the cafeteria wasnt even that bad as far as food goes. Again I cant thank the nursing staff and doctors enough in the NICU.
