My child who is in the same classroom as your child was has been helped tremendously. Ms. Hicks is an excellent teacher and her assistant is very vigilant of the children in the classroom. The school is very strict when it come to violence and rightfully so. It is unfortunate that your child couldn’t stay at the school for that reason but hitting is not a disability is a learned behavior. Again, I am more than in love with the school and can not express my gratitude for what the are doing for my child. Thank god for social media where people can see for themselves and not be misguided by your misdirected frustration. If you don’t address your child’s discipline now, she’ll bounce from school to school until she’s old enough to drop out. That would be unfortunate. Please know that this comes from a good place from a parent who has witnessed your child’s episodes and how they were handled. Your child was treated with nothing but respect and compassion and they would not be doing their job if they allowed her outbursts of rage while kids mine included are trying to learn. Good luck to you both.
