  Neat place. You can eat inside or outside. Wait wasnt bad. Prices seem average to high but nothing terrible. Our food was pretty good. Not the best i have eaten but nothing bad. Try it. I think you will enjoy it.

  The best seafood with an attitude in New Smyrna, FL, we had a great family dinner here, the service was top notch, exceptional service, amazing jumbo shrimp and snow crab was crisp fresh! Must try the crab balls and special sauce as an appetizer! Coming from a fan of seafood, JB's has my attention and plan to be back here severely times! Sorry you weren't with us Nana, maybe next time...

  Good stop for a summer lunch. Live music. Cold beer. Hot food and good views of the river. This place has not changed in 30+ years.
  
  Yes there is a wait. Yes its an old run down building. But it is authentic and good seafood.

  This is an awesome place to eat. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the Fish Dip with crackers and hot sauce, which tickled my taste buds, as well as some fried clam strips, which were quite tasty as well. These were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. These were our appetizers. Our main course included Blackened Grouper sandwiches, which were a tad spicy, but nothing dramatic, and ever so fresh and tasty, Cajun fried Grouper sandwich, also tasty in the Cajun style, and Crab Stuffed Grouper entree. Our sides included seasoned fries and coleslaw, and although these aren't what makes or breaks a fish restaurant, the fact that the fries were crispy and hot, and the coleslaw was creamy but not thick. Even the Dark and Stormy, and the Top Shelf Margarita happily satisfied their drinkers. Sadly, I don't recall the name of our waitress, but she was great, and the others seemed to be doing banner jobs as well. We ate outside, on the deck but the water with love music and a nice cover with a cooling fan overhead. Whenever I'm in New Smyrna, this is the place I love to eat.

  A very nice place with a very attentive and friendly staff. Listened to me and helped make my food safe (I have an allergy). A very nice atmosphere and had good food. I got the blackened gator sandwich and they did a really great job. Gator was cooked as well as gator can be and the fries tasted very good. Overall a good place to take the family for a quick bite.
