“I love this park. It has a beautiful winding path. There are signs that will direct you and a lookout tower. There are beautiful huge oak trees. There is a restroom and a play area for children which has beautiful wood carvings. Across the street from the parking lot is a pier which will take you to the Halifax River. It does take a little while to walk but it's well worth it. I have seen dolphins Stingray and many fish. Pack a lunch and have a great day.”

Perfect accommodations for up to 5 people- plenty of room. We were also pleasantly surprised with all of the added amenities. Would definitely recommend!”

“Amazing small park! Part by the road is a formal garden with a small gazebo and restrooms and then a boardwalk through the mangroves to the river. It's right on a sidewalk bike trail so a nice stop along the way.”

“Fabulous experience. Server Mike was so attentive and cheerful! The food was perfect. Crab legs special on Sunday for $17.99 was delicious and such a good value. We loved the ambiance- the ocean side table, the Adirondack chairs, the open atmosphere! The Friday-Sunday band played fun music and we enjoyed dancing too!”

“Pretty much like any other beach access. Except you are allowed to drive on the beach with your car or dune buggy. For a fee of course. Parking and walking down to the beach can be a hassle.”

“This place is great. As a person who doesn’t know very much about the ocean or anything that goes with it. The owner James was more then helpful when it came taking the time to teach my 3 oldest children how to surf. We spent approximately 2 and a half hours out in the water learning to surf. James was so helpful and because of this my kids were up and riding waves in no time at all. He was patient with lol the kids and super laid back.Not into surfing? Ok! He also does eco tours rents super cool little motorized skate boards. You like fish, your kids like fish. Awesome he was a aquarium with a bunch of different kinds that are seemingly always ready to be seen. Now I’ve never been to Florida on vacation in my adult life but I can guarantee that from now on when I come back I will be comming back to see James. He is one of the coolest most caring people I’ve met down here so far. Thank you James for making this trip so memorable. We will be seeing you when we come back next year.”

“Excellent service and very tasty food! The all you can eat pancakes are really high quality and I love that you cook your own too! A very nice value and in an absolutely lovely local in the park. The nearby springs can keep you entertained as you wait, and there will be a wait, but they have a great outdoor loudspeaker and even offer boat tours that will hold your place in line. Excellent, thick cut bacon and very tasty sausage. I loved the raw honey on the pancakes. They have this amazing five grain pancake batter and a rustic white. I was making hearts with the two in my pancakes. It is $6 to get in the park but it's a great park to visit. There is an 18% gratuity which I gladly pay, well worth it. If in the area, go here, a great place to eat and enjoy the day!”
