“Sunrise is the first of 3 VCS elementaries that helped my daughter with her learning disability. The school is full of fantastic teachers and staff. My children feel safe and loved and learn so much everyday. I also LOVE the Leader In Me program. The program teaches our children life long lessons that not many schools would install in our kid's lives. I love how the school encourages parent and community involvement. They also are quick to nip bullying in the bud to keep the students feeling safe. I love the after school clubs and sports that encourage healthy hobbies and goals while giving our kids mentors to look up to. I couldn't imagine a better school experience!”

“This is a little shopping center on Deltona Boulevard. You may have heard a story about a murder here in Deltona at a Family Dollar Store years ago. It's changed over the years and the Family Dollar store isn't there anymore. Winn-Dixie isn't there anymore and many other stores have left also. It's just gotten new stores there but there is a barber shop that's been there a long time now. I go here because there is a store called Duvall's. I call it the Duval's house and it is a thrift store. I have lost weight and I have gone in there and have bought myself a new wardrobe. I just love their clothes. Walmart just doesn't do it for me. I've gotten some beautiful outfits from there with tags where people haven't even worn these clothes. I have gotten other goodies from there to. The last time I went I got a comforter it keeps me nice and warm. I've also recently gotten a little cabinet that I'm refinishing and when I'm done I'm giving it to Mama. It was painted an icky color so I'm stripping it and I'm going to Varnish it when I'm done so you can see the beautiful grain in the wood. Yes, it's made from real wood not this pressed stuff. I've taken a picture and shown it to her and she likes it so I'm halfway done with it it's going to be hers really soon. I like going here because the money goes for a good cause. The prices are very reasonable and you just can't go wrong. If there's something that you came in to get or see if they had it just ask them if they do have it in their check in the back. That's what happened with the comforter. It wasn't on the floor so she checked in the back and tada Daa, there was one in the back and she brought it out for me and I bought it. There has only been once or twice I've gone in there looking to see if they might have a blouse or something and I walked out with nothing but usually I go in there and I can spend time just looking around because there's so much in there that I always leave with something. Not only do they have a lot of clothes but books and I have bought many a book there. I have been downsizing and I have given them all the things that I haven't wanted clothes knickknacks you name it. In fact I have some clothes and other goodies that I'm going to drop by as soon as I have everything all together. It's nice to donate to them because it's for such a great cause. When I drop my things off I then go inside but they also do pick ups by appointment. I just love this place.☺”
