  Great place to relax, connect with nature and see some wildlife. Just make sure to bring some bug repellent and a walking stick of some kind is a good idea as well as appropriate footwear. Other than that just stay off your phone and listen to the world around you.

  Wonderful preserve for backpacking! Trails are marked well for the most part but make sure you have a good map and maybe a good GPS that doesn't rely on cell phone data. We encountered a lot of wildlife and can't wait to plan our next visit

  Went for birding, saw some great birds and painted buntings (female in pictures attached, Male was too quick)!!! I walked all trails available, had the best luck crossing the bridge on the way to the sinkhole. The boardwalk is nice, but you wont see many birds along there - it is too dense.
  
  Other good spot is just to the right of the tortoise and opossum, by the feeders.
  
  Not much luck at the bird blind.
