“I switched to South State Bank 1.5 yrs ago after leaving a bank I had for 30yrs. The employees here have been fabulous!!! Especially Michelle!!! I had a problem with a deposit overlapping drafts and Michelle took the time to help me get it all straightened out. And followed up by calling me the next day. She has gone over and above in customer service! And I witnessed her helping a confused elderly woman....she took time explaining the situation with her, helping her with her withdrawals that were causing this woman distress. Michelle took her time, repeating often, to assure the woman understood what was happening in her account. Other customers that came in all know her name. I am sure she has helped many others. Condos for having outstanding employees!!!”

“I absolutely LOVE this bank and the employees at this branch! I had a problem with my last bank. The app and balances were inconsistent. I literally had to write down my transactions and do the math myself. I decided to check out BMO Harris because it was close to my house. I am self employed so I make a lot of cash/check atm deposits so the location was convenient. I love the fact that the minute I swipe my debit card anywhere I can instantly see the transaction on my app. There are no late posts, which can be easily forgotten and interfere with your expected balance. The employees at the branch call me every so often to make sure I’m not having any problems. They are great. I wanted to open up a savings account and expressed that during the last call I received. They went over my options and took care of everything for me. The employees go above and beyond for their customers!”

“See my review for chase bank!!!!! I just wanted to look at Google’s review of this bank while I write my report on how poorly I was treated during 3 days of time wasted by chase. I wish I could go into details to tell everyone how horrible this chase bank treats their clients. I read the reviews left before me and being close to corporate banking myself I can say these negative reviews are 100% on the money. I have never in my 30 years in business witness a more unprofessional branch manager and business banker. I couldn't deposit a check for $25K from a title company. Check was from none other than JP Morgan chase. I have 6 LLC's that I am liquidating all non-working entities so I deposit money into one common account. This branch manager says no. I say ok then open a new account with this name so I can transfer the funds tomorrow and close it. I have the company documents with me. She says I'm not doing that. Ok so this check from chase is useless at chase. to cut this short in 3 days I've had a keyboard shoved in my face to show their business banker how to look up sunbiz, sent to another branch once I started getting heated up to a pre prepped banker acting just as ignorant. This one made 10 phone calls in front of me like I brought them the most complicated company to open. She has my Delaware 5% ownership company docs in her hand showing I own 100% of this company and says on the phone I can't get on Delaware sight what am I supposed to do trust him. I say 5% ownership to give you a clue to what all business bankers should know. I don't want to teach these bankers their jobs but that’s why every big corp in this country uses Delaware. You cannot look up the ownership banking 101. This is common practice and 5 min on google would teach these useless disrespectful and extremely unprofessional bankers their jobs. That's ok because I drove right down the street to BBT by Krispy cream 20 minutes before closing. I asked the lady if she could open a company account. Out came the red carpet. The manager came out of his office shook my hand. We sat and talked for a while very nice gentleman. 20 minutes later account opened very professional efficiently done this place is what I've grown accustomed to over the years. If you do not own a suit and tie or have a briefcase full of money do not kid yourself at chase. They had no problems telling me straight out they do not want my business. They even sent me to call the title company to wire the money because they were too incompetent to open an account. I walked out of there and just could not believe a bank just told me they cannot take a check written by chase to my account at chase bank or open another identically titled company account at chase. If you have been profiled by chase by what you are wearing or look like do yourself a favor and go to BBT where your business matters and you are treated with respect. I have one building going in contract at $700k and one being negotiated at $850k. Chase your unprofessional manager cost you over $1 1/2 mil. Is this what your banks have lowered themselves to. Chase gets to know your client before you throw them out. As a manager you did not earned a privilege to turn people down, you earned a responsibility to give respect. If you want to learn how, take that name tag off and go walk into BBT by Krispy cream they can teach you and your staff what customer service looks like. Tell them Gilles sent you the one you refused to serve or ever found out what he does or who he is because he was not wearing a suit and did not have a briefcase full of money.”
