“I live on Longboat Key and have been banking with this bank for almost 20 years. They are like a small town bank that treat you like family even if you don’t live here. I have had accounts at other banks such as Bank of America which is the worst! Treat you like a number and extra fees for everything. I have banked out other SunTrust branches and the respect and courtesy are the same as Longboat. The one star review on here is obviously the one bad apple”

The reviews for TIAA were impressive, so I drove over to this location on a Wednesday 8/12, not having opened a new bank account in approximately 20 years, it didn't occur to me with Covid that I needed an appt. I called and Christine Bush answered the phone - it was near lunch time. I explained I wanted to open an account but didn't realize I needed an appointment. She did not even hesitate to immediately book an appointment for that exact time, she let the guard know I would be walking in and the whole process was incredibly professional. Christine is a true gem of a banker and was so very helpful. If you are looking for a financial institution that you can trust and 5-star treatment - then this is the locations/institution for you!”
