A volunteer acts as the clerk. It's a good place for those of us who are tired of being talked to and would prefer to listen to our inner voice, which is wise. There is a coffee time after the meeting and listening to the lives and values of the Quakers and the Quaker friends who attend is a very special experience, if you have ever left a typical Church after the meeting feeling empty.”
