“Coconut Creek has two recreation complexes for it's residents and this review is for the one in the northern part of the city at Sol Press Blvd. The main reason to go to this one is because it contains the gym which you can join if you are a city resident. I was here tonight for a Zumba class. Even though I am not a gym member I can still take a class for $6 with proof of residency. They offer Zumba Monday and Wednesday nights at 7:30 to 8:30 as well as Saturday mornings. Besides the fitness center the recreation center has a large gym with bleachers and a basketball court. When my daughter was in elementary school she belonged to a basketball team that had it's games here. They also offer different classes and events for children as well as adults. The City of Coconut Creek does a fantastic job of creating events for it's residents. They are affordable and varied. Events include fun things like art classes, treasure hunts, pumpkin carving, dances, breakfast with Santa, and egg hunts. Flyers for everything they offer can be found in the lobby of the recreation center. The city also hosts an affordable summer camp for the children of the city every summer at both recreation centers. On March 17 at 7 AM the Women's Club of Coconut Creek is hosting it's annual garage sale here to benefit it's scholarship fund. I always find some great and inexpensive treasure. Don't be late if you want to come because the line starts well before the open time. As a Coconut Creek resident I really appreciate everything the recreation staff does to make fun and affordable outings and entertainment for it's residents. I have always found the staff at the recreation centers to be friendly and helpful and some have even become close friends through the years. If you are a resident and haven't checked out the recreation center lately then you are missing out. There is always something great going on.”

“I'll agree, it did take me 6 times calling until I actually got an employee. However, he was very well informed and a pleasure to talk to. I showed up 15 minutes early and the woman helped me out immediately. She walked me threw it step by step. She was very courteous and respectful. Everything was explained correctly and in detail. My only regret is I don't recall their names. Love this Post Office.”

“I was prepared for the worst after reading some of the online reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised after my first visit. In their website I found out exactly what I paperwork I needed to bring and got in line with their app. I was there on time and in less than 5 minutes my number was called. I showed all my paperwork, did the eye exam, took my picture and left with my new license in about 15 minutes from the moment I walked through the main entrance. The person that took care of me was very nice and got things done quickly. I think a lot of the bad reviews are due to people not being prepared before going to the office.”

“This DMV is small yet super busy. I visited on a Monday around 3:30pm and I was in and out within 30 minutes updating my driver’s license. 2 small cons are the parking spaces are limited and If you have Metro by T-Mobile(PCS) as a phone carrier do not bother putting your information into the kiosk because You will need to go to the front desk and provide your last 4 digits of your number. Other than that the employees are very helpful and nice. If your in this area I recommend this dmv.”
