“I am so happy that out of the hotels I had narrowed down for our family vacation I decided to take a chance with this one. Our stay has been incredible. The hotel, grounds, amenities are mint, and the staff could not be nicer. (Especially Irving) The beach for the hotel is a short walk or complimentary shuttle away, and the Hollywood Boardwalk is also a short drive on the complimentary transport. Do not fall into any of the negative reviews about "slow elevators" they are just fine and do not take any of the positive praise that I have to share about this incredible hotel.”

“It's not the nicest hotel in the area. It's older and a little fixing up would be great in some areas. However, the rooms are fine, the beds are comfortable, great water pressure, and it's clean. Also, it is literally a 5-minute walk from the beach. Friendly service. Breakfast is pretty basic (eggs from a carton, pancakes from a machine, cereal, fruit, bread, and juice) but it is ok for the price.”

“I could not find a room for 150 miles and it was late, weather and traffic were very bad and I was exhausted. The couple who own and run this very retro roadside motel were so kind, they held the room till I arrived and did not charge extra for the craziness and the lateness of the hour. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and when I saw it in the light of day, I was charmed by the outside. It made me feel like I had stepped back in time and it was a safe and lovely feeling. My daughter loves a hotel, and we both enjoyed our stay, even if it was only for one night. The furnishings were admittedly sparse and the toilet wobbled a bit when you used it, but the sweet couple, the price, the safe and comfy place to lay our heads more than make up for any lacking amenities. It is a great place to spend a night or two while traveling.”

I did not have time to play, unfortunately.. The staff is friendly, the food is good. The pool too small. I enjoyed my stay in Florida.”

The boats are in excellent shape too and very reasonably priced. I'd have given it a five but the room was a little musty. They need to air them out. At least the one we were staying in.”
