“The hotel is hard to find because it's located deeply behind other buildings. There are still traces of its great past but its future is a major renovation. The elevator needs a major cleaning. The receptionists are nice but it's hard to get a clear information about the billing. They charge $50 deposit. I am still giving them 4 stars because the room was spacious and clean and yet I got a good price.”

“Very nice. We had a 2 bedroom for a few days. Land is nice. Beautiful trees. The kids loved watching the peacocks that were walking around. Rooms a little dated but had a washer and dryer which was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful.”

“Just as I posted on Yelp I was extremely pleased. The rooms are immaculate, the staff was amazing, great for families with children the pool only goes as deep as 5 1/2 and it’s so clean. They keep their grounds very clean no cigarette buts everywhere and I smoke. They require you to stand at least 10 ft. Away from all rooms. Everything including the bus stop is so close and the staff really make you feel at home. They are very kind and I would recommend this for families with children because the pool is immaculate. I was extremely pleased and if ever needed I will make this my 1st choice for sure!!!! I also wanted to mention the bottles of water and popcorn on top of the microwave!! Very cool even though this room was booked under my husbands name Richard, it was me that stayed. The bed was so comfortable the pillows were also and I was able to pack food with me because of the refrigerator. When I 1st got there it wasn’t very cold at all, I called the front desk they were at my room in less than 10 minutes with a new one. It’s very reasonably priced and again close to everything and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for making my experience so lovely. Elizabeth Boyd”

“Pros: friendly & helpful staff. Comfy beds. Updated rooms nicely decorated. Centrally located. Con: Only one and that is the rooms are connected by a door. Great for larger groups but noisy for just a single person or couple sharing a room. We asked to be moved when a large & rather noisy family moved in to the room adjoining ours. The staff was understanding & provided us with a new room. Definitely will stay here again & highly recommend.”

“Tremendous value for money. We needed to spend 10 hours before our flight, and we used this place. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms and comfortable pillows. Bedsheets clean and fresh. The room carpeting seemed a tad tired though. The owners at the reception are very friendly. Will use this again if I need to.”

“Played Panther Lake and had a really great time. The course is in phenomenal shape. The best I've seen in a while. The layout is friendly and challenging at the same time. The staff were very helpful, accommodating, and knowledgeable. That driving range is incredible. I loved it. An all around great facility for golf. I wish I lived on the west side of central Florida (instead of the far east side) so I could go there more often.”

“Great Hotel for the area. Very clean and decor is in between modern and traditional bohemian style. The only downside to this hotel is that there was no fridge in the bedroom. I had friends with a baby stay over and they had to put the baby's milk inside an ice bucket to keep it cold. Although the ice machine was very close to the room is still a very big inconvenience for parents of a little baby to actually have to walk out get ice because they need to keep the milk cold. Suggestions to GM add a fridge that probably would give this Hotel a five star.”

“I love Orange Lake. My family loves Orange Lake. I hadn't been back here in over 10 years but today as I pulled up to check-in I felt as if I was coming home again. Much has changed in the form of amenities. Some are free and some are a small fee. But its really a vacation within a resort. You never have to leave here with all the different activities the Resort has to offer. They now have 8 different restaurants. I have not had time to check them out. My one issue( its not even a complaint) is that they immediately want you to tour the resort in the hopes you will become a time share owner. The woman who they direct you to to get your parking pass doubles as a sales agent. Having been a time share owner at this very resort I have to say I loved it. I still do. ????”
