“Lake Norris is an amazing place to Trail Ride! The terrain is great for hiking too. The landscape is absolutely beautiful. The trails are marked by color, so easy to follow. Rode 12 miles over 2 days lots of shade and open terrain. Highly recommend!”

“Very nice park! Went for a kickball game and there were kids playing baseball as well. No smoking near the fields and concession stand was open and serving good food.”

“This place is free!! We have gone twice now. The tram tours are excellent and take 45 min to an hour. Lots of info and lots to see. I think tours are only on the weekend but the park is open all the time. The center has some cool reptiles to see. The trails are fun and kid friendly. Tend to get muddy so make sure to have proper footwear. Lots of the walking areas are not shaded so make sure to also be prepared with sunscreen/hats/water. Nice, large, shaded picnic area, perfect for packing a lunch and spending the day.”

“Really nice parks. Had a spree of car break in, however, Volusia County Sheriff's put a stop to it immediately. Go VCSO.”

“A great little park with a play ground, pavilions, grills and clean restrooms available. There are several nice tent camping sites and lovely trails that even the newest and littlest hikers can manage. The lake is easily accessible from the park and offers beautiful scenery with good fishing. There is also a boat ramp near by.”

“The view of the cruise ships leaving is fantastic! Unfortunately, there is no public parking near this area. I'd highly advise parking at the Marriott hotel nearby and making the walk. If you're up for that, the view couldn't be better.”

“Fields looked great tonight. The groundsman really takes care of the kickballers. Fresh paint and straight lines, someone buy that guy a beer.”

“I try to go here every day. A nice walk for me and for my dog Rudolph. It's a great people park there is cold drinking water there and they provide baggies for your dog's waste. There's a nice cement walk path around the park I usually go around a few times before I head home. Very convenient for me because I live on 19th Street so it's a half a block away. I'm so glad they made this little Park for people and dogs because we don't have any dog parks but if it wasn't enclosed doggy park, I probably would not use it. I like the idea that all dogs stay on a leash. Thanks to Broward County Parks or whatever Department decided to make this a pocket park here, I am one of several others using this park. It's very nice they keep the grass trimmed several times a week and there are natural plants growing here.”

“Before I found out about this place, I was paying membership fees to a dog park far away that is under constant watch. But this place is different. The park is always clean, it has areas separated for different dog sizes, it comes with doggy water fountains and poop bags, and best of all - it's 100% free! I love bringing my best friend here to run without a leash and make new friends. My dog always look forward to visiting happy tails, and frankly I share the same feelings.”

“Rick was absolutely amazing, this venue is beautiful and between him and Willie they made sure to accommodate and help with anything that we needed. We even forgot my bouquet at the estate and they made me a stand in for the ceremony. They really went above and beyond what was expected. All of our guests had such an amazing time and the weather turned out beautifully. One great thing is you have up to 48 hours prior to the wedding to decide if you want to tent the main dining area, which is very beneficial for a Florida wedding. We went ahead and tented anyway with beautiful chandelier lighting just in case since the weather was going back and forth. Honestly the tent gave it more of a romantic ambiance for dinner which I really loved. At night with the fire pits, tiki torches and lights you really feel like you are in a tropical oasis. I highly recommend this venue, rick and willie as your DJ.”

“If you love the beautiful natural flora and fauna of South Florida, this is the spot for you. It is a wide, easy boardwalk trail that allows you to see Florida’s beauty in safety and ease. I see families with strollers, don’t bring your pets, though. Definitely take a camera, there are wide expanses of The Everglades and Cypress trees that are very picturesque. I’ve also noticed that there are kayaks, so I’m sure there are rentals available as well. I just went there and fell in love with it. You can reach their offices and find out what sort of programs they have available. I see there are children’s programs there as well. They have quite a bit going on. I try to get there in the mornings and do a brisk walk, you can’t find a more beautiful spot. It’s a nice alternative to the beach in the cooler months. And if you simply want to do the walk, it is free.”

“Took a ride around the perimeter trail with my wife and 10yr old. Trail was great, with areas of single track where I could jump off for more challenging ride without totally ditching them. Really well maintained.”

“We are currently staying as year round guests. We are very pleased with the campground and the staff. They are very pleasant and helpful. The amenities are great! Loving having 2 pools and 2 hot tubs to choose from. Love having all the different laundry stations to visit in case one is very busy. The only concern I have is for the handicapped accessible amenities. There are almost none. Any time I have to take a shower or use their reatroom I feel as if I am taking my life into my own hands. There are no showers with shower chairs or benches to sit on while bathing and I am not able to stand for very long. Also, the floors are very slippery and I had had many close calls. I wish there was some way for these things to be rectified as I still need to shower and would like to do so without leaving in tears each time. I know I am not the only patron that may need handicapped access.”
