“Wonderful park! Spot wildlife and get lost with nature. Children and adults alike will love it. Easy to access boardwalk. Excellent views of the lake. Very close to the boat ramp and lighthouse. Children's play area close by as well. Pavilions at the entrance to the park. Parking lot shared with boat ramp parking. Be advised that some areas off the boardwalk may be flooded since it is right on the lake.”

“Though we didn’t get a chance to roam the trails, we were able to walk to the first observation tower, just off the main parking lot. The view was fantastic, green, and far-reaching! The height of the tower put us just above the tops of the trees! Walking down the stairs of the tower led right onto the main trail. The facilities were well-managed and appeared very clean. The parking lot and entrance was immaculate! I can only imagine the rest of the park was immaculate too!”

“Second time visiting and it was better than the first trip couple weeks ago. Saw a bald eagle catch a fish and land on the perch spot by the kayak launch on my walk off the path. Lots of other birds cranes and hawks all around. This place is a real nature lovers paradise!”

“Big park with plenty of picnic areas, benches, and concrete areas to relax and enjoy. Awesome area for a stroll or bike riding. Plenty of open areas to fish from the shore. It does get quite a few visitors, but you should still have plenty of room to enjoy a relaxing time. For people who visit and want to see a gator. Chances are good you will spot a few along the shore. Just look for them towards dusk for the best chance of spotting some alligators.”

“This is an awesome park in Seminole county! It's clean, quiet, well maintained, it has a wonderful office building and nice restrooms. There are tennis courts, soccer fields, racket ball courts, coaching, tournaments, and great play for all ages and skill levels. It's not too far off the beaten path and very easy to find at that. There is some handicap parking and a ramp into the main building. The staff and kind and accommodating. You can't go wrong with this place for fun and recreation!”

He explained his strategy for fishing in each spot and then with in minutes and sometimes seconds there was a bit. “Awesome, safe neighborhood park, with thick, well maintained rubber floored play area with slides and climbing house of all types. Many of the areas covered by very tall canvass awnings. Lots of green space, as well as three tennis courts and a full basketball court. Many fully grown trees providing wonderful shade in virtually all adult seating areas. One very large pavillion is adjacent to the playground as well.”
