“Nice place to come and experience nature. I wouldn't recommend bringing small children or pets because all the alligators in the area. It's a small park, with little parking, but it's usually not busy. Easy to get to from 50 through Oakland. It's also a short detour off the west oals trail.”

“Here is a nice neighborhood park in Oakland. There are two playground sets, a swing set, a small 2 hoop Basketball court ( and the hoops are lower than standard for younger children to enjoy. )There is a tennis court as well. The park is large and open with magnificent live oaks dripping with spanish moss as well as palms, magnolias, and azaleas in bloom right now. There are plenty of picnic tables and grills around as well as benches placed throughout the park. I stood inside the lovely gazebo and took a 360° video. There are however, no toilet facilities. I could not locate posted hours. Limited parking spots available.”

“This place has really turned around in the last few years. The new owner know how to do things perfectly around here. The menu is excellent and the service at the bar is precise, yet welcoming. They do rounds near the pool to make sure that we have everything you need. The pool is well maintained and so is the gym. Every now and then they is a special event for the public that keeps the family busy during vacation. A plus value for sure for the habitants of Artisan Park”

“Great place to jump on the paved bike trail or if you like to ride mountain bike trails there is a really fun area set up for easy to moderately difficult trail system. I only rode on the easy trails this visit, but what a fun time I had! The terrain is wonderful for the kind of off road riding I like to do, which at my particular age means, "nothing too risky" for these bones. This was my first time at this trailhead park, and I love it! I am a big fan of Seminole County Parks and this one is no exception. I can't wait to go back!”

“Great Place to Ride. We rode through the woods on our bikes on a trail that winds though the tree and goes along the river. We rode about 15 miles and we did not cover all the trails. It was GREAT FUN. You have to pay a little at the parking lot but the money goes back into the Florida Park System, great cause, and give back to the system.”

“Nice trail. Primative type walk. Mostly canopy coverage if you stay off the vehicle path. Not the best for trail markings at a couple spots. The main bridge it closed so you can not cross the river. Not marked to get to the white trail loop look north or behind you. When facing the bridge, about 50 feet back you will see a bridge closed sign. You can navigate around this since it is dry. I do plan to hike this trail in the future.”
