“Great place to take kids, and the trail is great in the winter.”

“This is our favorite park. It decently shaded. The smaller kid playground is like an obstacle course kids can go around and around in a circle (well a square) and the larger kid playground is very unique to other playgrounds we have been to and the slides are quite steep/tall. It’s not fenced in, and is close to the parking lot. There is a sidewalk trail around both play structures, very handicap accessible. They have a swing for disabled children. There are nice bathrooms close to playground area and a large covered pavilion next to the sand box area.”

“Peaceful. Then in the distance I heard a cricket, and then like a wave the sound of thousands of crickets came in my direction. And then just like it began, there was silence again.”

“I love stopping off while paddling up and down the run. The run gets 5 stars, but the campsite less so. It is the best site along the run. Fire ring, benches, and a bear/ critter box for food and garbage storage overnight. Cons are the campsite is mostly dirt with sweet gum seed pods all over (i.e. spiny) making it difficult to find a nice place for a tent. Also, people need to learn to burry their toilet paper as a few feet into the woods in any direction is covered in used TP.”

“It’s a nice park! It has a park for big kids and beyond it has a park for little kids. With swings (2 large and 1 for babies). It has a large green grass area to run and play. It has 2 tennis courts. 2 basketball courts. Areas for walking and cycling. It needs some maintenance and restoration. but it is very good.”

“As a former agriculture teacher and someone who works with elementary school students in school gardens, this is a great teaching tool! Florida soils are problematic to say the least! From fertility, organic content to drainage it can be challenging to grow a healthy garden. Farm Daddys eliminate those and several other problems, namely nematodes and watering! Be amazed how fast plants grow in an optimally controlled environment!”

“Really great trail! Very well maintained. Winds through the woods and is nicely shaded throughout. I highly recommend a visit here.”

“One of my favorite hikes in northern Orlando. A huge grassy (sometime muddy) plain filled with palm trees perfect to set up a hammock and watch the sun set/rise. If you can, try to plan your trip during a foggy morning, it's breathtaking. Also if you read Robert's other reviews he seems to think most hikes in central Florida are only worth 2 stars. ”

“Neat place to take a hike. Various Florida ecosystems. Muddy ground makes the traveling difficult in places. It is easy to get off the designated trail in a few places so pay attention to trail markers.”

“We love it here! Very friendly people, no issues with dogs, and tons of space to run and play. I have taken my animals to dog parks in the past and had a terrible experience... This is not the case here. Excellently well maintained and always a good time!”

“This is a great spot to launch kites and enjoy water sports. Inside the cones is for the kite boarders . So if you come here respect that. Outside the cones is for other beach comers. Dogs are not allowed on the beach the signs say it as well..”

“Beautiful beach, far fewer crowds than Deerfield, and there's a water sports section dedicated for kite surfing and launching sea kayaks and such. Also, lots of fun walking North for a bit on the beach to visit the inlet where there are always awesome boats to watch and do some fishing and snorkeling around the little Beach cove area there.”
