“Black Hammock trailhead to Crosswinds park is great section! Lots of shade, and very few street crossings. 4 miles there, 4 miles back, making it family friendly. There are also a few restaurants a bit further down the trail to stop for lunch or dinner.”

There are benches placed along the length of the trail at appropriate locations. Plants are well marked as to their name and there is a fair amount of insect and animal life here.”
