Fort Mose Historic State Park

Address: 15 Fort Mose Trail, St. Augustine, FL 32084, USA

Park

“A great bargain (ample free parking and $2 admission) for a morning or afternoon trip to Florida's, mainly Spanish, history. Fort Mose was a refuge for escaped slaves and displaced indigenous people and the site goes into that moment in some detail. Admission includes a well made 15' movie. Nice Boardwalk into the salt marsh. A real gem.”

Oak Springs RV Resort

Address: 10521 Scenic Dr #2199, Port Richey, FL 34668, USA

Rv park Campground Lodging Park

“Adorable, "old Florida," in a good way! Spacious spots, roads are paved and winding with lots of mature shade trees. Park is very well maintained, swimming pool is delightful. The place is huge with well over 500 sights, but feels like a gentle little town. Many of the sights have very old built-on-to trailers that have full time residents, but they seem to "work" in this special nook of Florida.”

Orchid Park

That if you are spiritual sensitive you are going to obtain so much power and might start feeling the life within this Natural Park. Strongly recommend for healthy strength. “Beautiful new playground; dog park well tended, 2 areas for larger & smaller dogs; mostly nice people. Great boardwalk & 3 story observation tower. A more natural park. Great walking paths. Update. New morning people at dog park rude and bossy. One woman with aggressive Aussie mix scream at others when her dog is the one who starts trouble. Had to stop going.”

Springs, shaded paths and boardwalks, kayak rentals, restrooms, and we found a pavilion a little ways up a path and took a break in the shade by the water. Not really sure what people expect from a park, but I had no complaints, enjoyed the visit, and I want to go again sometime - so, 5 stars from me!”

Maximo Park

Address: Pinellas Point Dr S &, Sunshine Skyway Ln S, St. Petersburg, FL 33711, USA

Park

“Maximo Park is one of the finest parks in all of Pinellas. It is extremely old and some of the trails are really starting to show their age (edit Jan 2021: they have repaved some of the trails so this has changed, I've noticed a lot of work going into the park lately with a ton of invasive species removal which has made the disc course easier and new plantings). There are lots of areas for picnicking, Biking walking sightseeing and a large boat ramp with trailer parking. And of course there is the best disc golf course in the area here, 18 holes, very difficult at times, blind throws, but well-marked and once you get the hang of the lines extremely rewarding.”

Suncoast RV Resort

Address: 9029 US-19, Port Richey, FL 34668, USA

Rv park Campground Lodging Park

“My wife and I love Suncoast RV Resort. We are blessed to be able to use it for our home away from home. Other reviews have pointed out issues regarding flooding during heavy rains, palm trees needing trimmed etc. while these things are true, we are confident that plans are underway to remedy these issues. If I had a specific complaint, it would be the loss of James, the former Maintenance Supervisor. From day one of moving in, James welcomed us and went out of his way to address any issues we had. If I was working on my site, it never failed that he would stop by and see if I had any issues or complaints. I saw him do the same exact thing everyday with other guests. No disrespect to any of the current employees, but it seems different without him on property, utilizing his people skills and genuinely caring about folks and issues at the resort. Funny how changes in staff can impact the overall vibe and feel of a property. Denise the manager has also been wonderful to us both since day one. She has always been respectful, kind, and accommodating to us. We hope to continue to utilize this gem of a property for as long as they will have us.”

Riverwalk

Address: 452 3rd Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34205, USA

“Very clean play ground area. The splash pad was just jets, but the water was a perfect temperature. Easy access to restrooms that were also well maintained and clean. Parking on site. Walking along the river was enjoyable. Lots of fun benches and seating to sit and enjoy the view.”

“Recently spent time at Drummond Point Park during our vacation on Amelia Island. We come here every year and bring our kids here. They love walking the trails, swinging in the big chair swing and playing at the playground. Very nice and well kept park, just wish there was a bit more to the trails to explore.”

Pinecrest Gardens

Address: 11000 SW 57th Ave, Pinecrest, FL 33156, USA

Park

“I thought this was a great place to visit! I’m glad it wasn’t more than $5 though. If I lived nearby I might go fairly often, but unfortunately it’s about 40 min drive so I don’t think I’ll ever come back. Maybe after the renovations are finished later on, or if just in area and need some time to kill. It’s pretty small— you can do most of it within 1 hour if you weren’t sitting down and meditating. That’s good or bad depending on your outlook — I thought it was nice for what we desired to add a nice and quick place to our day. Staff was great. Thank you!”

17th Street Park

“It's a beautiful location, lots of little places to explore. Great to have some good friends all camp together, especially on busy weekends, it's a locked gate to keep out anyone not part of the group. Cons: Vault toilets could get really bad and no running water.”

Keith Waller Park

Address: 1318 Sydney Dover Rd, Dover, FL 33527, USA
