My last service was a chemical peel to even out skin tone and wrinkles. I was nervous and she put me at ease by completely explaining the procedure.She is very easy to talk to and clearly understands the results you wish to achieve. I had no pain whatsoever. The booths are different sizes to accommodate individuals or small groups, and there are even booths with exercise equipment. The owner, Sheila, is extremely knowledgeable and such a nurturing and wonderful human being. She genuinely cares about you feeling better and makes sure you are comfortable for your visit. I have had multiple sessions in the booths, both with salt and red light, and with only salt. After every session I feel amazing! “I've tried a few different float locations around OC and have seen the best and the worst (The worst being a Saw movie type of shower in the corner of a carpeted room with warehouse lighting. No joke.) Awaken Float Lounge is THE best around!! I go for 2 hours weekly and have experienced some life changing benefits. The most note worthy change is my relationship with my phone. Prior to coming here, I usually spent most of the day glued to my earbuds. I'm always listening to a podcast, book, or music. Rarely did I do ANYTHING without some form of secondary stimulus. I've come to realize I was drowning myself out with external input, and rarely did I ever just sit and listened to myself. That has dramatically changed. She immediately made me feel very at ease, and calmed my nerves. While she was doing my injections she explained to me everything that she was doing. She periodically would stand up and look at my lips from different angles to ensure everything was even. She was very professional, and educational.
