Bridal loft in the barn was great but the Groom Room left much to be desired. “We are never disappointed when we drive down to Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. The visitors center offers many educational opportunities and they have a nice gift shop as well. The nature walk is nice. It is definitely worth the drive and time required. I'm always amazed with all the animals we see during the drive in and the nature walk.”

“Our room was fine. The view was awesome. We had a balcony apartment with the perfect ocean view. The beds were good, too, and it was very clean. The problem was with the operation of the whole establishment. There are multiple entities involved in running this building. It's weird. There are so many rules and petty regulations, it makes it much less fun. It has valet parking, so you can't forget anything in your car. Also, $3.50 for a cup of black coffee, with no refills and no warning? (Husband and I spent $21 for morning coffee to go with $20 worth of food -- a ham and cheese omelet and bagel breakfast sandwich.) Just beware.”
