“I've owned a few cats over the years at different cities I've lived in Florida. Scott Mill Animal Hospital was highly recommended to me by a friend when I moved to the Mandarin area in 2013. I've never loved a vet office more. They are super compassionate and understanding of pet parent worries and concerns. Very personable and friendly staff; they actually smile! Dr. Moore is just a really cool guy who makes you feel comfortable. He's highly professional and knowledgeable. It helps that (for the first time ever) I have the sweetest and most tolerable kitty at the vet. Last but not least, their rates are very reasonable and affordable. I've now come to learn that I've been spending hundreds of dollars more for lesser quality care for years. I won't hesitate to bring my furbaby to the vet when I know I won't have to borrow money from my 401K! And that means she'll never miss out on any medical care”

“I am not one to post reviews but I feel like I need to. Our dog was older and started having seizures so we took him in. We were told the next day we could make the decision of putting him through more medication and taking him home knowing this would happen again or sadly putting him down. He was older and we didn’t want to be selfish so we decided it was time. THEY WERE INCREDIBLE handling us and our dog through everything. From telling us to helping him go. Just like humans you don’t expect the same level of personal care in an ER as you do your personal vet (especially if your dog has an attitude problem). They made the entire experience the best and easiest it could have been. They let us stay with him as long as we needed before letting him go.We decided to keep his ashes and decided on a box. When we went to pick it up it was beautiful and came along with paw prints, nose prints, a certificate, a paw print in clay, a paw print to plant into flowers…Bringing that home and seeing everything REALLY helped with the closure we desperately needed. I even let other people know this was the place to go. Emergency rooms are scary. This place made it far less. Thank you all for caring for my dog and caring for us.”

My pug had a horrible ulcer on her eye and her eye was about the rupture and Dr. Jones was able to save her eye completey! My other dog had a bad case of Mange and again Dr. Jones cured him. “Dr. Santamarina is a good veterinarian. He saved my kitty life two times. He is very knowledgeable in his profession and also very concern on the costumer feelings and his /her economic situation. Unlikely other veterinarians that only see business and also don't get directly to the kitty problem (like one of the Banfield Pet Hospitals, which I will never go again)... Because of the pandemic, I image that is very difficult to make an appointment like I see in recent reviews. Anyways, I am very thankful and I strongly recommend him.”

“I am so thankful that a place like this exists! First Coast no more homeless pets was exceptional from beginning to end. they offered a very reasonable price to neuter my dog. I called many animal hospitals before being referred to this place. I was shocked and appalled at the price I was quoted by so many different veterinarians to neuter a dog. You try to do the right thing to prevent pet overpopulation and it's just unreasonably expensive. If it wasn't for this place I honestly wouldn't have gotten him neutered. I appreciate a place like this offering reasonably priced services so that you can take care of your pet on a budget. When we retired and got our own horse (a 30" subcompact model named Yázhí) we contacted several vets in our area and we very disappointed with the responses we were receiving. I checked Brandon Equine as a last resort because I did not think they came this far north. I am happy to say they do and I am much more at ease knowing they are there if I need them!
